I'm not sure how that would work, unless you plan on staying overnight: Armin's set is from 04:00 to 08:00, towards the end of the event (I think it starts at 22:00 on Saturday and ends at 09:00 on Sunday).
Yeah I saw that, and figured I'd stay over at a nearby hotel (there are several). Though much would depend on the times you'd be arriving and leaving, as I'd want to do some fabric shopping while in the area. For instance, if you were planning on arriving exactly at 4am and departing at 8am, I would make other arrangements. :p
What?! 4 a.m. is the perfect time to go for the Crash & Carry discount!
Currently, I'm still ambivalent: it's a rough time for me to be up, and I'm not getting a whole lot of other folks interested. If you would be driving, it would be easier on me, although I don't know how the hotel would work: an early check-in and/or late check-out would be really handy, so that I could nap!
Have to stay away from dancing for a couple of months to heal, alas. Also, I try to not go to these super-popular-DJ events as there's not the mood I'm looking for... I'm fine with the smaller crowds here in Ottawa. :)
Agreed; it was great when Sasha came to do a set at Surface the night after doing a set in Montreal, certainly... from what I heard, he liked the smaller venue too, and seemed to be having a really good time. The fact that it was his birthday probably didn't hurt...
